Pocket Island

Pocket Island was one of the first mobile games developed by Wooga. It was an ambitious attempt to implement a complex strategy game with HTML5 and JavaScript, targeting devices such as iPhone 4 and iPad 3.

The game was open sourced soon after its release. It is one of the earliest and most advanced mobile HTML5 games.

I joined the project in the middle of the production cycle and worked with the small but talented team until the release 3 months later. It was the first game I contributed to and where I got my first experience in mobile development.
